Hangar 97 | Bend, OR
Southwest Bend is getting a new gathering place. The Hangar — an aviation-inspired food cart pod, taphouse, and indoor pickleball facility — is coming to the corner of Murphy Road and SW Silverado Springs Drive on Lot 1 of Murphy Crossing Phase 1. Ridge Line Design is the civil engineer of record, supporting the project from land use entitlement through construction-ready site improvement plans.
Our site improvement plans cover a three-phase build-out: a 3,055-square-foot taphouse, the pickleball building, and a six-cart food pod with plazas, stairs, and retaining walls resolving roughly eight feet of grade. Stormwater infiltrates on-site through a sedimentation manhole and rock infiltration trench within a cross-lot drainage easement. Each food cart gets dedicated water, sanitary, gas, and electric connections, backed by grease interceptors, a duplex lift station, and force main to City sewer — with Roats Water District service, a private fire line, and 36 parking stalls including EV-ready and van-accessible spaces.
The Hangar builds on Ridge Line Design's ongoing work throughout Murphy Crossing, from land division and road widening to the neighboring RV resort and affordable housing.
